2011 Staff Satisfaction Survey

MEDICA, a leading provider of long and short-term dependency care in France, presented its 2011 Staff Satisfaction Survey to the Group works council on Friday, 24 June.

Developed by MEDICA in 2006 to foster transparent, constructive social dialogue, the survey is based on an anonymous groupwide consultation of employees carried out by French polling institute CSA.

Once again, the survey results were very positive, with the direct consultation process drawing record participation. In particular, the 2011 survey revealed that virtually all MEDICA employees (93%) enjoy working for the Group and that eight out of ten would recommend MEDICA as an employer to their family and friends.
In addition, 94% of respondents approved MEDICA’s Quality programme, which they consider vital to the Group.
The results for numerous indicators have improved significantly since 2006, notably as concerns the perceived quality of resident care, the resources available to employees to help them perform effectively and the implementation of the quality and certification programme. This trend demonstrates the effectiveness of the action plans deployed nationwide to improve working conditions more quickly and to enhance each employee’s career development prospects.
